JK Consulting raises nearly $30,000 for Paws of War at Northport fundraiser

JK Consulting, a Northport-based brand agency, is celebrating the success of its recent community fundraiser benefiting Paws of War, held on April 9 at the Northport Yacht Club. Through the collective generosity of sponsors, donors and guests, the event raised nearly $30,000 in support of the organization’s life-changing mission.
The fundraiser brought together veterans, first responders and community members for an unforgettable evening of purpose and celebration. The night featured powerful storytelling, heartfelt tributes and standout performances in honor of those who have served their country. The evening was emceed by Caroline Flynn, formerly of News 12, who guided the program and helped bring the stories of the night to life.
Highlights of the evening included a special performance by Mike DelGuidice, live music from Dave Bray, and entertainment by celebrity DJ Chef. Guests also heard moving remarks from veterans and leaders connected to the cause.
“I couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of such a wonderful event,” DelGuidice said. “An absolutely amazing cause. The room was full of love for our veterans and for the beautiful rescued service animals that have brought such comfort and meaning to their lives. It was a beautiful night.”
A Long Island-based nonprofit organization, Paws of War rescues dogs and cats from dangerous and life-threatening situations and pairs them with veterans, active-duty service members and first responders.
“This event is about giving back in a meaningful way. Paws of War does incredible work supporting veterans, active military and first responders through service dogs, companion animals, and other life-changing programs that restore hope, healing, and independence. We’re proud to help shine a light on that mission and raise critical support for the heroes and families they serve,” said Jennifer Pinto and Kelley Henneberry, partners at JK Consulting.
“Performing at this amazing event was truly an honor. The community of Northport may be small, but they definitely have big hearts for our veterans and first responders,” said Bray, a U.S. Navy/Marine Corps veteran and musician who thanked J&K Consulting for bringing the evening to life.
