The annual East Northport Fire Department parade and fair returns tomorrow, with four nights of festivities. The traditional kick-off parade is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7 at 7pm, traveling north on Larkfield Road from Fifth Avenue to the firehouse. A rain date for the parade has been planned for Thursday, also at 7pm.
This year features carnival rides for all ages, games, and a large selection of food. Live music includes The Heartland Band on Thursday, All In on Friday and Crisis on Saturday. Admission to the fair is free, with POP (pay one price) bracelets available for purchase on on site.
The East Northport Fire Department headquarters is located on Larkfield Road and Ninth Avenue. Festival hours are Wednesday, August 7 through Friday, August 9 from 7-11pm, and Saturday, August 10 from 5-11pm.
