Winter Restaurant Week starts this Sunday; Arlo, Salted and Ritz among local participants
Arlo Kitchen and Bar in Northport is just one of many Long Island restaurants participating in Restaurant Week, beginning this Sunday.

The Winter Long Island Restaurant Week commences this Sunday, January 28 and includes eight days of deals at many well-loved restaurants throughout Long Island. The promotion was created to boost revenue and support for local spots during the colder weather, and traditionally slower months. It serves to inspire residents to enjoy some of the community’s top-tier restaurants with prix-fixe options that are more in line with their budgets.

The promotion includes prix-fixe menus costing $29, $39 and $46 per person, depending on the restaurant. Menus offer a choice of one appetizer, entree and dessert. Below are some of our favorite restaurants in and around town that are participating in Winter Long Island Restaurant Week this year:

SALTED. on the harbor, Northport
SALTED. is offering a two-course lunch menu for $24 and three-course dinner menus for $29, $39 and $46.

Arlo Kitchen and Bar, Northport
Arlo has a three-course menu for $46 per person, which includes a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Among the options are fried calamari, chicken spiedini, salmon, chicken parm and the Arlo Burger. Filet mignon and pork chop are available with an additional cost.

Ritz Cafe, Northport
The Ritz Cafe is featuring a two-course lunch menu for $24 per person and a three-course dinner menu for $39 per person. Some dinner menu items include chicken francaise, chicken pot pie, pork schnitzel and linguine with clam sauce.

Il Toscano Seafood and Steak, Commack
Il Toscano is offering a three-course lunch menu for $24 and a three-course dinner menu for $46 per person. Some menu highlights include gnocchi bolognese, steak pizzaiola and roasted half chicken.

NOEMA, Huntington
NOEMA in Huntington is offering three-course lunch and dinner menus for $24 and $46 per person. Some of their Mediterranean options include spinach pie, calamari and salmon. Octopus, lamb chops and filet mignon are available for an additional cost.

Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar, Huntington
Prime is featuring a three-course $46 dinner menu with spicy sushi roll, gnocchi, double ranch hanger steak and scottish salmon as some highlights.

Grasso’s, Cold Spring Harbor, Cold Spring Harbor
A little further west down 25A, Grasso’s has a three-course menu for $46 per person, which includes a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Some menu options include Blue Point oysters, eggplant parmesan, filet of branzino and fresh fusilli with shrimp, black olives and mozzarella. Lamb chops, duck breast, and NY strip steak are available with an additional cost.

NOCO (North County), St. James
Heading east, North Country in St. James is offering a three-course menu for $46 per person, with options such as short rib risotto cake, steamed mussels, pretzel crusted chicken paillard and wild boar meatloaf. They also have vegan red quinoa and chickpea cakes on the menu.

Winter Long Island Restaurant Week will take place from Sunday, January 28 to Sunday, February 4. Some promotions aren’t offered on Saturday evenings, so check the menu beforehand for details.
