When closing the doors to Tin Rooster in Northport, Sue Dittrich did not expect another door to open. Yet it did – just three miles down the road.

A social media post in mid-March announced Tin Rooster’s move to The House of Timeless Treasures in Huntington, a multi-dealer collective of vendors and artisans. Dittrich officially joined the cooperative for its official grand opening last month and seems to have transitioned to her new home with ease.

The original Tin Rooster, on Fort Salonga Road, shut its doors in February, with original plans to transition to a click-and-order business model after closing. The Northport collective opened in March 2020, persevered through the pandemic, and grew a following of resident regulars before Dittrich made the tough decision to close so that she could spend more time with her family.

Now, she’ll continue to connect with customers new and old in person, where she can share her passion for vintage and antique items.

The House of Timeless Treasures is located at 160 E. Main Street in Huntington. You can follow them on Facebook here. Tin Rooster’s Instagram account can be found here.
