After six-plus years in Northport Village, Penny and Cooper will soon be making a bittersweet move. The beloved and convenient bath, body and home store has officially announced the closing of its Main Street storefront, in favor of an exclusively online operation. Their last day in store will be May 17.
Mother and daughter duo Donna and Katie Donigian will continue to focus on their all-natural product line of candles, soaps, bath salts, lotions and washes – all handmade in Northport. Their fresh scents are inspired by the ocean and all products are crafted in small batches.
In an Instagram post announcing their decision to sell exclusively online, they wrote, “The growth of pennyandcooper.com and our wholesale accounts have allowed us to take this next step. Our Northport store and the customers it has brought us has been such a special part of our lives that we will always cherish.”
“Penny & Cooper’s focus on natural high-quality products, with simplistic coastal style, and strongly valuing our customers, will remain at our core. We are beyond thankful that we can continue to handcraft all of our products in beautiful Northport, NY.”
The team will continue to offer free local delivery and gift wrapping on all online orders.
“It’s not goodbye, it’s see you online,” Donna and Katie concluded.
