The 42nd running of the Great Cow Harbor 10K took place this past Saturday, and what a perfect day it was. With little wind and cool temperatures throughout the race, 5,000 participants navigated the Northport Village streets at various speeds to the cheers of family, friends and spectators.

Winners in both the men and women’s divisions brought home $10,000 each, in prize and bonus money. Steph Bruce, 38, from Arizona won her second USATF 10-K title with a course record time of 31:53, while Biya Simbassa (29, also from Arizona) secured the win, setting a new course record as well with his 28:13 time (a 4.32-minute mile). A full list of results can be found here.

The annual Cow Harbor parade followed on Sunday, September 18 and was filled with as much activity and celebration as ever. Check out our slideshows below for some highlights from the weekend. More pictures can be found on our Facebook page.
