Dance the night away in Huntington’s Heckscher Park at this free concert featuring songs from Harold Melvin and Blue Notes, The O’Jays, Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Kool and the Gang. The music will be by Gentlemen of Soul, with an opening act featuring Huntington’s own Pam Carey.

NAC’s Art in the Park

The Northport Art Coalition’s annual Art in the Park is back after a two-year pandemic hiatus. The event features works by artists, fine craftspeople and authors which will be displayed and for sale. There will be a kid’s creative station in collaboration with Not In Our Town Northport, plus musical performances and poetry readings throughout the day.

Classic Tea Party at Northport Historical Society

Parents and kids are invited to attend a classic afternoon tea party inside the Northport Historical Society. While sipping fresh brewed tea and eating finger sandwiches, learn a little about Northport's famous lady's tea parlor and play a few games. Herbal and black tea, finger sandwiches, scones, cookies and fruit will be served. Age recommendation: 8-12. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased here.

Historic Harbor Tour

Join the Northport Historical Society for a relaxing evening on the water. Your tour guide will share the rich history of Northport Harbor as you cruise along the waterfront for a new perspective on the Village. Then stay on at the dock for drinks and a bite after your cruise. Tickets are $50/members and $60/non-members and are available here.

Huntington Anti-Bias Concert

Join the Huntington Anti-Bias Task Force for a free concert to raise awareness of the racism and violence that POC face. The Huntington Anti-Bias Concert will feature some of the best talent from each of the nine Town of Huntington High schools and will also involve your favorite local businesses. There will be raffles, snacks and more. All proceeds will go to the Tri CYA, an agency that provides food and other important services to the community

Huntington Harbor Music Fest 2022

Huntington Harbor Lighthouse
The 12th Annual Huntington Lighthouse Music Festival takes place in Huntington Harbor and is promised to be one of the most memorable days of the summer. There will be extraordinary bands of all musical genres who will perform in the middle of the water on top of the lighthouse. There is no fee to attend; simply drop anchor and enjoy an amazing full-day affair with fun for the whole family.

The Wellness Program in Northport Village Park is back for the summer, beginning with yoga at the gazebo with Jen Tzimas from Yoga Blue NPT on Main Street. Classes cost $10 and can be purchased here. All levels welcome. Bring your own yoga mat and water.

“Iconic Northport,” an exhibit now open at the Northport Historical Society features the history behind Northport's most iconic landmarks, businesses and traditions, including the LILCO stacks, the trolley tracks, Jones Drug Store and Cow Harbor Day. The museum’s first ever interactive exhibit, each icon has its own QR code that offers users a short video containing extra photos and interesting facts. There is also a selfie station, where visitors can become a customer of Jones Drug Store's old soda fountain.
