Northport Firemen’s Fair
Now through Saturday, July 16, 7-11pm
Steers Avenue (off of Ocean), Northport Village
Grounds open at 7pm for rides, food, skill games and fun. POP bracelets cost $35 each, with individual tickets available for purchase. Parking is limited; shuttle service at Steers Park will take fairgoers to and from the grounds to their cars. The fair goes until 11pm every night from July 11 - July 16.
Northport Community Band Summer Series

Thursdays through July 28, 8:30pm
The 2022 Summer Series continues with “Scenes From Childhood,” with guest conductor Brian Reynolds, Grumpy Bassoon Soloist Rich Johanson, The Wizard of Oz, Looney Tunes, E. T., Captain Kangaroo, the circus and more! Northport horns lead a pre-concert show at 7:30pm.. Bring a can for LICares! Live Stream right here on Facebook. Bring a chair or a blanket for you, and a can of food to donate to Long Island Cares.
Happenings on Main Street: The Haymakers

Presented by the Northport Arts Coalition, Happenings on Main Street features The Haymakers (“country music with a punch”) with Chris James, Mark Pohl and Tom Hopkins this week. Weather permitting. Concerts will continue every Friday through September 2.
Huntington Folk Festival
Saturday, July 16, noon-10pm
Heckscher Park, Huntington (Route 25A and Prime Avenue)
A free event co-presented by the Huntington Arts Council, Folk Music Society of Huntington, and AcousticMusicScene.com, as part of the 57th Huntington Summer Arts Festival produced by the Town of Huntington. “An Evening with Paula Cole and Sophie B. Hawkins” will be preceded during the afternoon by a series of amplified showcases and song swaps, along with a musical tribute to Lois Morton and an open mic. For more info and a full schedule, click here. A dinner break will take place from 5-7:15pm. Festival goers are advised to bring lawn chairs and blankets and a picnic supper (or they can walk into Huntington Village and enjoy a meal at one of its many restaurants).
Northport Rotary Club Duck Race

Northport Harbor, end of Main Street
Buy a duck for charity and a chance to win $2,000, $1,000 or $500. Bring the kids and let them watch the ducks move with the tide until they hit the finish line. It’s all to make a difference in Northport-East Northport and beyond. Purchase a duck here or at the Northport Farmers’ Market this Saturday.
NEN Library’s Summer Concert Series: Mary Lamont Bond

The “Queen of Long Island Country” returns to Northport Public Library as part of its Summer Concert Series to entertain a courtyard crowd with traditional and contemporary country selections, as well as upbeat original songs. It’ll be a lively and fun time with one of the Island’s best country bands!

The Wellness Program in Northport Village Park is back for the summer, beginning with yoga at the gazebo with Jen Tzimas from Yoga Blue NPT on Main Street. Classes cost $10 and can be purchased here. All levels welcome. Bring your own yoga mat and water.

Iconic Northport

“Iconic Northport,” an exhibit now open at the Northport Historical Society, features the history behind Northport's most iconic landmarks, businesses and traditions, including the LILCO stacks, the trolley tracks, Jones Drug Store and Cow Harbor Day. The museum’s first ever interactive exhibit, each icon has its own QR code that offers users a short video containing extra photos and interesting facts. There is also a selfie station, where visitors can become a customer of Jones Drug Store's old soda fountain.
