Join Northport High School’s Students for 60,000 club as they wrap up a week of service projects helping those in need. With “Resilience: Building Community Through Adversity” as its theme, the story slam will bring together individuals from all over the island to tell their truths. Free admission, donations accepted.

During the pandemic, kids were still being diagnosed with cancer, but donations to support research have been down drastically. Join Northport High School to have some fun – and help the biggest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants do more to speed up the search for cures. Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer to raise money another way, or make a donation, join the fight to give kids with cancer the long, healthy lives they deserve.

Northport Historical Society’s Irish Pub and Trivia Night
Saturday March 12, 7-10pm
It’s back! Join the Northport Historical Society in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with live traditional music from the O’McSki’s Regulars band, and reubens catered by Tim’s Shipwreck Diner. Bring friends to compete and win prizes in a general knowledge trivia game. Get your tickets early (they sell out fast!) at www.northporthistorical.org.

Rock of Ages

The five-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical smash Rock of Ages tells the story of a small-town girl, a city boy, and a rock ‘n’ roll romance on the Sunset Strip. When the bar where rock reigns supreme is set to be demolished, it’s up to these wannabe rockers and their band of friends to save the day – and the music. Rock of Ages’ electric score features all your favorite ’80s rock anthems and power ballads, including “Every Rose has Its Thorn,” “I Wanna Know What Love is,” “Here I Go Again,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and more! So, get ready to rock and roll all night....or at least until the curtain goes down!

Huntington Winter Farmers’ Market
Sundays through March, 9am-1pm
Get your farm fix in the off-season. Since 2010, the Huntington Winter Farmers’ Market has provided Long Island residents with a direct source of local produce and goods during the winter months. Visitors will find items ranging from hoop house greens to artisan breads and vegan treats and everything in between. There will be up to 30 different vendor tables, with some rotating vendors and some that will be there on a regular basis.
