“Love Letters to a Wild Heart”
Haven Gallery is honored to present Netherlands-based painter Dewi Plass, for her first solo show at the gallery. “Love Letters to a Wild Heart” features ten acrylic paintings that embody Dewi’s tradition of animal sitters poised in their natural settings laced with delicate and playful motifs. Through September 12.

A Night of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil
The Northport-East Northport Community Drug and Alcohol Task Force (DATF) is hosting a “Night of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil” to honor those who have been lost to drug and alcohol-related overdose.
Tuesday, August 31, 7:30-9pm: The vigil is meant to promote awareness about a growing opioid epidemic in Suffolk County, and the prevalence of alcohol abuse, in our towns and villages.
