THIS SUNDAY
First Annual Huntington Family Pride Picnic
Mill Dam Park, Huntington
Saturday, June 26, 1-4pm
The First Annual Family Pride Picnic in Huntington will take place this Sunday, at Mill Dam Park. The family-friendly community gathering celebrates LGBTQ+ pride in Huntington harbor with friends, food and music. Pack a picnic. There will be an ice cream truck on site. “For many years, Huntington was the home of Long Island LGBTQ+ pride. That designation was sadly taken away a number of years ago. Huntington Family Pride is bringing LGBTQ+ pride back to Huntington with the first annual Huntington Family Pride Picnic,” said event organizers Eric and Jim Rubin-Perez. “With the support of UUFH [Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington], Huntington Family Pride has planned this event to show our youth that Huntington is an affirming and supportive community. We welcome you to pack a picnic and celebrate LGBTQ+ pride at the harbor with friends, fun and music.”
